8.23 Lakh Jobs Vacant!
Bhopal: The country's youth are grappling with the problem of unemployment, and there is intense competition for government jobs. Meanwhile, information obtained under the Right to Information (RTI) Act has revealed that over 8.23 lakh jobs are vacant across central government departments (excluding public sector banks and public sector undertakings). The Centre recently disclosed these figures in response to an RTI application filed by Chandrashekhar Gaur, an activist from Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh.
