Mumbai: Sricharani, the Telugu spinner who delivered a stellar performance in last year's ODI World Cup, has secured a spot in the T20 World Cup squad for the very first time. Similarly, Arundhati Reddy—another Telugu pacer who proved her mettle in the previous T20 World Cup—has retained her spot. The Indian squads were announced on Saturday for the Women's T20 World Cup, scheduled to take place in England and Wales starting on the 12th of next month; for the preceding three-match T20 series against England (commencing on the 28th of this month); and for the solitary Test match (starting on July 10).
