AE's family attempts suicide in Rajahmundry's Godavari River; three missing
Hyderabad: A tragic incident occurred in Rajahmundry, where a family attempted suicide by jumping into the Godavari River from the road-cum-rail bridge. Nookaraju, an Assistant Engineer (AE) from the Pithapuram Panchayat Raj department, abandoned his car on the bridge and jumped into the river. While Nookaraju's grandson managed to swim to safety, three other family members went missing. Police and rescue teams have launched a search operation in the Godavari River for the missing individuals.
