AI Chatbot Bobby Encourages Suicide in Connecticut
New York: A man who had been having constant conversations with an AI chatbot named ‘Bobby’ on ChatGPT and lived in a world with it.. He completely trusted the chatbot’s words and brutally murdered his mother! Then he took his own life!! The incident took place in Connecticut, USA. The man’s name is Steen Erik Solberg (56). Steen, who previously worked as a manager at Yahoo, suffered from severe mental problems. He lived with his mother, Suzanne Eberson Adams (83), in Connecticut.
