Ambati: I was harassed at Nallapadu Police Station
Andhra Pradesh: Ambati Rambabu, who was arrested on charges of making inappropriate remarks against Chief Minister Chandrababu, was produced before a magistrate by the police. During the hearing, Ambati told the judge that he was tortured at the Nallapadu police station. He said that the CI (Circle Inspector) told him that he had to do this due to pressure from higher officials. He lamented that he was unjustly arrested despite not having committed any crime. He alleged that the police did not accept his complaint regarding the attack on him.
