Another 100 Branches This Year
Chennai: Indian Bank, focusing primarily on expanding its presence in the central and western regions of the country, plans to open approximately 100 new branches this year. To manage new and expanding business operations, the bank plans to recruit approximately 2,500 people to replace employees retiring in the current financial year. Indian Bank MD and CEO Binod Kumar stated that they had opened 100 branches last year and have similar plans for this year as well.
