Another 6 Urban Forests in the state
The central government has approved the establishment of another 6 urban forests in Telangana. Officials said that under the 'Nagar Van Yojana', funds of Rs. 8.26 crores have been sanctioned as the first installment for the 2025-26 financial year. Parks will be established in Mavala and Yapal Guda-II in Adilabad district, Indaram and Chennur in Mancherial district, and Yellampet and Chengicherla in Medchal district, under the supervision of the State Forest Development Corporation.
