Another Earthquake in Japan; Buildings Sway Violently
Tokyo: Japan has once again been shaken by an earthquake. Tremors rocked eastern Japan, including the Tokyo region, today (Sunday). An earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale struck in the early hours of the morning. Residents of eastern Japan were gripped by panic as buildings swayed violently. The earthquake struck southern Ibaraki Prefecture, a region in Japan prone to frequent seismic activity. The Japan Meteorological Agency reported that the quake's epicenter was located at a depth of 70 kilometers.
