AP Minister's Budget Proposals Before the Centre!
Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav met with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Delhi and requested that priority be given to Andhra Pradesh in the Union Budget. He made proposals for funding for the construction of the capital city, river interlinking, comprehensive regional development of the Rayalaseema region, SASKI and Purvodaya schemes, allocation of ₹5,000 crore for the economic and regional development of Visakhapatnam, financial assistance for the Polavaram-Nallamalasagar link project, and a package for the development of backward areas.
