Archer Achieves Glory
Telugu archer Dhiraj Bommadevara finally clinched the elusive individual World Cup gold medal. In the men's recurve individual final at the Archery World Cup Stage 3 competition on Sunday, Dhiraj stunned South Korean star and Paris Olympics bronze medalist Lee Woo-seok with a 7-3 victory. This marks the first individual World Cup gold medal for the 24-year-old archer from Vijayawada. Previously, his best achievement in this category was winning three bronze medals (2023, 2024, 2025).
