Many people leave the charger plugged in after charging their phone and the battery is full. But tech experts advise against doing this. “If you do this, the charger may explode when the voltage increases. The internal components may heat up and cause a fire hazard. Even when switched off, the charger continues to use some electricity. This wastes electricity. It is better to unplug it,” they say.
