Arjun Erigaisi Exits in Semis
Las Vegas: Telugu Grandmaster Arjun Irigesi, who had raised hopes of a title by reaching the semifinals of the Freestyle Grand Slam chess tournament, has come to an end. In the semifinals held on Saturday, Arjun lost 0-2 to American Grandmaster Levon Aronian. In the other semifinals, Fabiano Karuana lost to Hans Mok Niemann. Niemann will face Aronian in the final. Meanwhile, Praggnanandhaa won 1.5-0.5 over Vincent Keimer in the battle for 3rd to 8th places.
