Ban on 17 lakh apps!
Google has taken steps to clean up the Play Store for the safety of Android users. It has banned 17.5 lakh apps that are fake and violating policies. It has blocked 80 thousand developer accounts belonging to malicious and fake apps. On the other hand, it has deleted 16 crore spam ratings and fake feedback. The company said that it has blocked 2.55 lakh apps from unnecessarily asking for location, photos and other personal information.
