Ban on social media apps in Nepal
The Nepal government has taken a sensational decision. It has announced that social media apps like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, Reddit, and LinkedIn will be banned in the country. It has been stated that this decision will come into effect from tonight. It has been revealed that the reason for the ban is the failure to comply with the provisions of the IT laws. However, it seems that there is a possibility of strong opposition from the public.
