Brain tumor removal with AI assistance
Neurologists in London successfully performed the world's first brain tumor surgery with the aid of Artificial Intelligence (AI). They removed the tumor from the brain without affecting the patient's eyesight. The surgery took place at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, University College London (UCL). The AI model used in the procedure was developed by the UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology.
