With the appointment of Kunal Shah as the Global Head of WhatsApp, the number of Indian executives leading the world's most influential technology companies has risen further. Earlier this year, Asha Sharma, of Indian origin, was appointed as the CEO of Microsoft Gaming. Last October, Rahul Patil was appointed as the Chief Technology Officer of the AI giant Anthropic.
