Commonwealth and Asian Games Berths for Lovlina, Sakshi, and Jadumani
Olympic bronze medalist Lovlina Borgohain, the "Giant Killer" Sakshi Chaudhary, and male boxers Jadumani Singh and Narender Berwal have secured berths for the prestigious Commonwealth Games and Asian Games. In the final rounds of the selection trials held here on Friday, Sakshi (51 kg category) defeated Meenakshi Hooda with a score of 5-0. It is well known that Sakshi defeated star boxer Nikhat Zareen in the previous round.
