High Court Delivers Shock to CI Chinnamallaiah in Rape Case
Amaravati: The High Court has dealt a severe blow to CI Chinnamallaiah in a case registered against him involving allegations of rape. The court dismissed the anticipatory bail petition filed by him. The Court noted that the prosecution had presented evidence demonstrating that the petitioner's son, Shivashankar, had called and threatened the victim, as well as sent intimidating messages to her phone. It opined that the petitioner, by exercising his authority, is likely to interfere in the investigation as well as influence and pressure the victim.
