Crows die due to bird flu... Alert in Chennai
Bird flu cases are causing concern in Tamil Nadu. The death of over 1000 crows since January in Adyar, Avadi, and ECR areas of Chennai is alarming. Recent tests conducted at a laboratory in Bhopal on the dead crows confirmed that the H5N1 virus was the reason. Authorities have advised the public not to touch dead birds and to keep children away from them. They also suggested wearing masks in areas with a high concentration of birds.
