Dera Baba gets a big relief
Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh (Dera Baba) got a big relief. The Punjab and Haryana High Court has acquitted him in the murder case of journalist Ram Chander Chhatrapati that took place 20 years ago. It has quashed the life sentence awarded by the lower court in 2019. Although Dera Baba has been in jail since 2017 in a rape case against women, he has been out on parole about 15 times.
