Did not learn Marathi despite six years in jail
Mumbai: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt's comments regarding the Marathi language have gone viral. When asked to speak in Marathi, he mentioned that he hadn't learned the language even during his time in prison. Sanjay Dutt attended an event in Mumbai on Sunday alongside Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik. At the event, some people requested him to speak in Marathi. Smiling, he playfully sidestepped the request, saying, "Pratap Bhai, I spent a full six years in Pune's Yerwada Jail, yet I still couldn't learn Marathi."
