Do you know about the ‘Vriksharani’ Tulsi Thimmakka?
We are unable to plant a single tree to protect the nature that has given us so much. But netizens are posting that 113-year-old Tulsi Thimmakka from Karnataka has sacrificed her life to plant trees. In the last 80 years, this ‘Vriksharani’ has planted more than 8,000 trees and turned barren lands green. To make up for the lack of children, her trees were adopted. The Center honored her with the Padma Shri in 2019.
