Extend the deadline for voter registration for Graduate MLC constituencies
The TPCC Election Commission Coordination Committee has requested the Election Commission of India to extend the voter registration deadline by another four weeks for the two Graduate MLC elections scheduled to be held in March. Furthermore, the committee has urged for the removal of the requirement to have degree certificates attested by a gazetted officer for the purpose of voter registration. Pulipati Rajesh Kumar, Chairman of the TPCC Election Commission Coordination Committee, submitted a formal request to this effect to the State Chief Electoral Officer, Sudarshan Reddy, during a meeting at the latter’s office on Wednesday.
