These are the highest in terms of runs and run rate in the history of T20 World Cup. In 2024, Ibrahim-Gurbaz scored 446 runs at 7.6 RR, in 2021, Babar-Rizwan scored 411 runs at 7.33 RR, in 2022, Buttler-Hales scored 368 runs at 9.2 RR, and in 2007, Gilchrist-Hadden scored 335 runs at 8.93 RR.
