Formula-E Car Race: A Potential Burden of ₹600 Crore
Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has stated that a total of ₹75.88 crore of public funds was misappropriated during the Formula-E car race event organized under the previous BRS government. It reported that this amount was misused in connection with Seasons 9 and 10 of the race. Furthermore, the ACB revealed that had the agreement for Seasons 10, 11, and 12 also come into effect, it would have imposed a financial burden of ₹600 crore on the government. ACB officials have filed a 77-page charge sheet regarding this matter in the ACB Special Court at Nampally.
