Free eye surgery for one lakh people
In these days of commercial medicine, a doctor has become a god by performing free eye surgeries on millions of people. Dr. Sanduk Ruit from Nepal dedicated his life to providing sight to the poor. His services have spread from remote villages in the Himalayan mountains to across Asia and Africa. The ‘Himalayan Cataract Project’ he started has treated more than 1.4 million patients.
