G.O. Issued For Large Gas Cylinders to Tribal People
Amaravati: Tribals living in remote hilly areas of the state will now also get bigger cylinders. The government on Monday issued orders to convert the 5 kg LPG tribal package cylinders currently being provided under the ‘Deepam-2’ scheme into 14.2 kg LPG cylinders. In this regard, a budget of Rs. 5.54 crore has also been allocated for security deposit and documentation charges. This will benefit 23,912 eligible tribals in various districts of the state.
