Gold and silver reach record highs in Delhi, rupee hits historic low
In Delhi, gold jumped by Rs 2,700 on Tuesday to reach a new high of Rs 1,18,900 per 10 grams at 99.9% purity. Gold of 99.5% purity also rose by Rs 2,650 to Rs 1,18,300 per 10 grams. Silver jumped by Rs 3,220 to reach a record high of Rs 1,39,600 per kg. The rupee fell by 47 paise to 88.75 against the dollar. In the international market, gold was at $ 3,791.10 per ounce and silver was at $ 44.32 per ounce. tittle
