Union Minister Piyush Goyal said that the trade deal talks between India and the US are taking place in a friendly atmosphere. When asked by the media whether there will be good news on US tariffs, he said, "Trade talks and agreements are not based on deadlines. No agreement can be completed until the interests of farmers, fishermen and the MSME sector are protected. The talks are going well. We will inform you once we reach a decision."
