Consequently, data from the company Plum reveals that insurance providers, perceiving this as a heightened risk, are contemplating raising premium rates by up to 50%. This means that securing an insurance policy will now cost significantly more than it did in the past. Experts, therefore, advise individuals to purchase insurance at the earliest opportunity; otherwise, they warn, one may be forced to bear the entirety of their hospital expenses out of their own pocket.
