Hotel Slab Collapses
The roof of a tiffin center in Marpalli, Vikarabad district, collapsed suddenly on Saturday morning. While customers scrambled to safety in panic, four individuals were trapped under the debris. Locals and police worked for two hours, using a JCB machine to clear the rubble and rescue the four victims alive. Nijar (19) sustained severe injuries to his right leg and waist, while Ramesh (38) suffered serious injuries to his head and chest. Doctors reported that Shivakumar (25) and Chandana (12)—who are cousins—suffered fractures; Shivakumar broke his left leg and right arm, while Chandana broke her left leg.
