Huge bundles of notes found at IPS officer's house
The CBI has arrested Harcharan Singh Bhullar, DIG of Ropar Range in Punjab, a 2009 batch IPS. He was caught by the authorities while accepting a bribe of ₹8 lakh. They searched Harcharan's house and office and seized ₹5 Cr cash, 1.5kgs of jewellery, 22 luxury watches, Audi, Mercedes cars, guns & pistols. The middleman was also arrested along with him. The searches are still ongoing. They will be produced in court tomorrow.
