Increase in supply of 5 kg cylinders
To avoid gas shortage, the Center has drastically increased the supply of 5 kg LPG cylinders. More than 13 lakh cylinders have been sold since March 23. Currently, daily sales have crossed one lakh units. Mostly migrant workers are buying these. On the other hand, the government has activated 4.24 lakh PNG connections since March. Domestic LPG supply is continuing steadily. 52 lakh cylinders were delivered on the 11th of this month.
