India-Russia Deal: Troops on Each Other's Soil
A key agreement known as RELOS (Reciprocal Exchange of Logistic Support) has been finalized between India and Russia. Under this pact, both nations will be able to deploy up to 3,000 troops on each other's territory. Additionally, they will utilize each other's naval ports, airbases, and airspace for logistics, training, and operational support. This deal was finalized to address logistical gaps between the two nations, which have long been defense partners.
