Key change in garbage collection.. Now in 4 bins!
The Center has brought a new garbage collection policy called ‘Solid Waste Management Rules 2026’. From now on, it is mandatory to segregate waste into four types at home. Earlier, there were three, but now one bin has been added. Green bins should be used for wet waste, blue for dry waste, red for pads-diapers, and black bins for medical waste at home. This change was made to facilitate environmental protection and recycling.
