Khairatabad Swarmed by Crowds
Khairatabad: Masses of people were seen everywhere, having arrived to catch a glimpse of the Khairatabad Ganesh idol. From the early hours of Sunday until midnight, the areas surrounding Khairatabad resembled a surging river of people. Officials from the Khairatabad Utsav Committee stated that approximately 500,000 devotees visited the massive Ganesh idol. Many devotees offered their prayers to the deity from a distance before departing. Traffic came to a standstill in the Lakdikapul, NTR Marg, Saifabad, and Masab Tank areas due to the heavy influx of devotees.
