Kunal Shah Named Global Head of WhatsApp
Global tech giant Meta is set to invest ₹8,550 crore in CRED, a prominent fintech firm headquartered in Bengaluru. As part of this mega deal, CRED founder Kunal Shah will step down from his role as the company's Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Meta has appointed Kunal Shah as the Global CEO of WhatsApp, the popular messaging app. Shah will take over from Will Cathcart, who has served as WhatsApp's CEO for nearly seven years.
