Labour Department Joint Commissioner Arrested in Disproportionate Assets Case
Tirupati: Kurnool Labour Department Joint Commissioner Balu Naik was arrested by ACB officials in Tirupati in a case of assets beyond his income. Later, he was taken to the Anti-Corruption Department court in Nellore. In the wake of the allegations against him, ACB conducted searches at his office in Kurnool, his house in Tirupati and seven places in Annamaya district on Friday and Saturday. The searches, led by Tirupati Regional Anti-Corruption Department Additional SP Vimala Kumari, revealed assets worth Rs. 5 to 6 crores as per the document value.
