Land acquisition for Visakhapatnam Metro Rail from April?
Andhra Pradesh: Land acquisition for the Visakhapatnam Metro Rail project is likely to start from April. The survey to identify residential and commercial properties that will be lost on the metro route is almost complete. This route requires 99.2 acres of land, most of which belongs to the government (87 acres). The DPR has been prepared so that the metro runs in connection with the road, and the construction method will be followed in Delhi and Hyderabad.
