Lightning Strikes Petrol Filtering Tank in Visakhapatnam, 80 Workers Narrowly Escape Danger
Malkapuram: A lightning strike occurred at East India Petroleum Limited (EIPL) near Visakhapatnam Naval Dockyard. A lightning strike on the 124th methanol oil (petroleum filtering) tank caused a huge fire. The incident took place on Sunday afternoon. At that time, about 80 workers were working in the vicinity of the tank. Everyone was relieved as no one was injured. Company officials estimate that there has been a huge loss of property.
