Lights of joy in the homes of blind cricketers
Andhra Pradesh: Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan brought joy to the homes of Deepika (Satyasai), captain of the blind women's cricket team, and player Pangi Karuna (Alluri). He sent them a TV, fan, other household appliances, daily necessities, clothes, and blankets. He also instructed officials to construct new houses for them under the sports quota. It is known that when Deepika mentioned that the two roads leading to her village were not suitable for travel, Pawan Kalyan sanctioned ₹6.2 crore for the roads.
