Cannot interfere in water disputes: Krishna Board
The Krishna River Management Board has made it clear that it cannot interfere in water disputes between Telugu states. It said that the water distribution is currently being investigated in the Justice Brijesh Kumar Tribunal. If it intervenes now, it will fall under contempt of court. It has responded to the Telangana government's request to restrain AP from using Krishna water and generating electricity in Srisailam-Nagarjuna Sagar.
