Liquor Scam Case: Supreme Court hearing adjourned to January 21
The Supreme Court heard the petitions filed by Govindappa, Dhanunjaya Reddy, and Krishna Mohan Reddy in the Andhra Pradesh illegal liquor case. It extended the exemption granted to them from surrendering until January 21 and adjourned the next hearing to the same date. Chief Justice Surya Kant's bench issued these orders. It clarified that its orders would not be an obstacle for the trial court to take cognizance of the charge sheet.
