Lok Sabha adjourned till Monday... Rajya Sabha continues
The Lok Sabha has been adjourned till Monday. Before the adjournment, Speaker Om Birla said that 19 hours of parliamentary time had been wasted due to protests and slogans. The opposition insisted on a discussion on the US-EU trade agreement. Since the beginning of the session, members have been holding placards and trying to rush into the well of the House. A general discussion on the budget was scheduled for Friday. Meanwhile, discussions are continuing in the Rajya Sabha as per the list.
