Lord Shiva's favorite month
The month of Kartika has begun. This month is very dear to Lord Shiva. Scholars say that one should take a bath in the river early in the morning and visit temples during this month. It is said that it is good to light a lamp under the Tulsi Fort, temples, and Amla tree during this time. It is suggested to observe the Kartika month fast. Apart from this, scholars say that donating food, clothes, and warehouses will bring merit.
