Merge 5 Villages Adjacent to Bhadrachalam into Telangana: Thummala
Minister Thummala Nageswara Rao has requested the Central Government to merge five villages situated next to Bhadrachalam from Andhra Pradesh into Telangana. To this effect, he wrote a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah. "For the sake of administrative convenience, please re-incorporate the villages of Pichukalapadu, Purushottapatnam, Gundala, Etapaka, and Kannayigudem back into Telangana. Only then will the issues faced by the tribal communities be resolved. Please ensure that the merger bill is introduced during the current parliamentary session itself," he urged.
