Municipal results.. BJP ‘zero’
Telangana: BJP could not win a single seat in 116 municipalities. It did not win a single ward in 45 municipalities. It could not make any impact in the joint Warangal, Mahabubnagar, Khammam and Nalgonda districts. In only 3 municipalities (Adilabad, Metpally, Narayanpet) did it win more wards than the other parties. However, Bandi Sanjay’s solo campaign secured the Karimnagar mayoral seat in his parliamentary constituency
