Nationwide implementation of ‘PM-SETU’ with an outlay of Rs 60,000 crore
New Delhi: The Centre has decided to implement the ‘Pradhan Mantri Skilling and Employability Transformation through Upgraded ITIs’ (PM-SETU) scheme nationwide, with an outlay of Rs 60,000 crore. Preparations are complete to roll out the PM-SETU scheme by developing 200 ITI clusters at a cost of Rs 1,237 crore. The National Steering Committee (NSC), led by Debashree Mukherjee, Secretary of the Ministry of Skill Development, took this decision.
