Neeraj Chopra in Commonwealth Team
The Indian athletics squad for the prestigious Commonwealth Games has been announced. The games are scheduled to take place in Glasgow, Scotland, from July 23 to August 2. The Athletics Federation of India (AFI) revealed a 32-member team, which provisionally includes star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra. AFI Selection Committee Chairman Sumariwalla stated that Chopra is currently fit and is set to resume training within the next ten days.
