Nepal gives the green light for Indian mango imports
The Government of Nepal clarified that it has not imposed any ban on mango imports from India. It stated that Indian mangoes are being permitted into the country in accordance with specific regulations and to meet market demand. Nepal had banned imports of Indian mangoes, citing high levels of chemicals and pesticides as well as a lack of adequate quarantine facilities at border areas. Recently, Nepal's Department of Agriculture issued a statement revoking that decision.
